Dynamic receipt
Overview
As e-commerce gets increasingly competitive, merchants want to improve the customer experience and differentiate their services by adding extra value. The Roqqett dynamic receipt is designed to do just that.
Why is it important?
To improve the overall customer experience, merchants are increasingly looking to improve the post-sale service. Traditionally, this has involved a static email that will confirm the order and in some cases a follow-up email giving tracking information.
The trouble is that these emails are increasingly lost in the email inbox. Modern email clients such as Gmail filter them into non-priority inboxes, so the customer does not see them unless there is a problem and they go looking for them.
This means a missed opportunity for the merchant to add value for the customer.
What is in the dynamic receipt?
The Roqqett dynamic receipt looks like this:
It is made up of three components: parcel tracking, the returns countdown timer, and standard receipt details.
Parcel tracking
The dynamic receipt contains the Roqqett parcel tracking component. This will update automatically as the parcel progresses through the delivery states until final delivery. It will be accompanied by limited SMS or notifications from the Roqqett App.
Returns countdown timer
The returns countdown timer lets customers know how long they have left to return an item, as defined by the merchant's returns policy.
Standard receipt details
In addition to the above two dynamic components that update automatically, the dynamic receipt also contains the standard details you would expect to find in a receipt.
Those are:
- item(s) purchased
- name of the buyer
- shipping address
- payment method
- link to returns policy
- contact information for the merchant
